The West of England Steam Engine Society Rally

2025 Show

2025 show We are looking forward to bringing you everything from steam engine trailer rides to vintage wood sawing, trade stands to children’s entertainment, there will be something for everyone.

This year we will have 100 full size engines, to celebrate our 70th anniversary. Join us for the biggest steam engine rally to take place in Cornwall for many years!!

There will be fairground with vintage rides, details to be announced soon.

Admission gates open to the public at 9am on all 3 days, with a wide variety of ring events and displays around the showground continuously from 10am through to 5pm.

Steam Engines

Around 70 full size steam engines, some giving trailer rides around the show, others working machinery as they were designed to do.

Miniatures

Live steam, working miniatures of their full size counterparts can be seen out and about around the showground.

Vintage Vehicles

A wide variety of vehicles from yesteryear, including cars, motorbikes and stationary engines.

Tractors

See how the workhorse of the farm progressed onwards from the steam engine, to the diesel. A wide selection of tractors from over the years are on display.

Working Area

From horse powered implements, to steam and tractor driven machinery- stone crushing, threshing  and wood sawing can all be seen.

Model & Craft Tent

An eclectic mix of model collections, alongside a beautiful variety of local crafts demonstrated and for sale.

Countryside Area

Come and see the rural craft traditions of thatching, wood turning, forge work and more.

Live Music

Choirs, brass bands and evening entertainment are all part of the show.

Bar & Catering

Stop for refreshments at the beer tent or one of the many catering units around the site. A range of  foods to cater for all diets on offer.

Sheaf Pitching

On Saturday night the sheaf pitching competition takes place, hotly contested as the sun goes down.
